Is marmot production-ready and properly mantained?
Wondering upon the stability of this project before making any decisions to implement it in my stack.
It looks better documented than alternatives like corrosion, simpler than cr-sqlite, and more open than Turso. I see the last commit was 5 months ago though and wonder how the author feels about its stability and future.
Bump
Also bump, I get the feeling this project doesn't require much maintenance but would like to know for sure
@Sleepful I just discovered this project but it looks dead. No commits since 2023.
Maybe litefs is a better option. I read that he's working on multi-master mode or it may even have that. The project is backed by fly.io so it should be better supported.
Oh here is a maintained fork of this project. https://wongfei2009.github.io/harmonylite/
I use harmony lite
No issues though ..
You can also use Litestream. Itβs not got read replicas . So master / slave .
Not master / master like harmonylite
Sorry for a very long delay. But I've been actively rethinking what a new masterless architecture with multi database support will look like. With AI now I am finally able to chrun out more code faster, so I do plan to get everything back in line. Just stay tuned.
Great to hear about your new vision! π
So, contributors aren't needed anymore in the new masterless world of AI... π
I am using https://github.com/litesql
Its been really great and uses nats and SQLite too
