No, GDMO isn't a virus. See issue #119 and the #faq channel in the Discord server for more details
Do not use the Issues tab for help installing GDMO
Yes, you need Geode to use GDMO now. Do not ask for help with that here
Do not beg for updates/support for a specific version of GD
If the menu won't open, your GD is too new (currently the latest supported version is 2.204) or you installed it incorrectly
Just want to know when GDMO gets updated to 2.204?? Edit: Nevermind it's getting ported to Geode (saw many commits) so very soon I guess
@Rustring It will happen just wait before asking the 10th time.
But I only asked once lol, nevertheless I really don't care about when it comes.

Just look at the closed issues lol

Mind adding "Do not request features here" to the things not to do? :)

I meant adding it to the first bunch of "Do not"s, since currently i doubt anyone reads until the very end of the message.

Anyone reading these with a working brain should know that they shouldn't use the issues tab for features, but I guess adding a "Do not request for features" can be helpful for people who don't know any better but I find unlikely that they will even read this whole issue, as I still see people in the closed issues saying "GDMO is a virus" even though it's not, idk what antivirus are those people using that catches GDMO as malware.

IMO that's their problem, and they'll face the (admittedly puny) consequences if they don't read the whole thing. However, I'll move it anyway, just in case it makes a difference

Windows Defender typically. The thing is that if they're getting virus warnings now, it's not GDMO, it's Geode
@SpaghettDev I shuffled some stuff around, hopefully that'll work a bit better

I use Linux so I didn't get any malware warnings before GDMO was updated and the issue I read saying GDMO is a virus was one where they used Norton but yeah Windows Defender also has many false positives with completely legit programs.
