berryboot not recognising external drive

so i have a nfts formatted 1tb portable hrd drive with an image on it (lineage android 11) and when i try to add the image to the list it says please plug a usb stick or an other external drive before doing this. raspi 3B+. is it because it s formatted in NFTS?

NTFS is not supported use ext4 or fat32
