Some thoughts regarding this:

1. The contrast between the default and the high importance conveyed by scrolling up while recording should increase.
2. A fun enhancement might be for users to be able to choose between different temperature spectrum palettes.

Thanks Juan!! This is a great opportunity for me to learn color theory. Will explore this for sure. My friend also suggested showing a little spectrum on a sliver of the screen edge when you're holding down.

I like that suggestion of the spectrum appearing!

Another related thing is that it would be nice to be able to modify the color temperature after the fact in addition to during the act. When we speak we don't always know that what we are going to say is important because speaking itself is an act of discovery.
