Font color issues

Open maxistar opened this issue 2 years ago • 6 comments

Simple Text Editor, version 1.20.1 Android 11

I select "font color: white" and "background color: black". The highlight color remains a dark blue, which is practically invisible.

There should be an option "Use system settings for colors".

Hi @Sidahmed-ben sure! Looking forward for your PR! I have a question , when you say highlight color do you mean cursor's color ?

good question, I think it means the color when user selects the fragment of the text. There is also search functionality which is using yellow color but I guess it is not a issue described in this ticket, but it is also worth somehow to consider...

so far it is not easy thing to make using system colors, as a temporary solution I have added an option update colors for text selection, hope it will help.
