Feature request: Scroll to previous position when opening last edited file

I think this would be a nice enhancement to the feature that allows you to automatically open the last edited file. My use case it that I'm appending lines to a journal text file, so I currently have to scroll to the bottom every time I open the app. It would be great if the app would position the cursor at the last used location if possible (in my case, the end of the file).
