does not handle text intents

When text is shared from another app, "Simple Text Editor" does not appear in the list of apps to share it with.

It really should, although I see there might be problems.

The problem is, if you currently have another file open for editing, and the user has edited it... and then opens another file on top, what happens to the edits?

But this is a problem generally with the app. To open another file after editing a file, you have to first save and close the first file. You might give the user to save the edits, before displaying the shared text. (That's what you do when the user tries to open a new file.)

Would it be too complicated to implement tabs for open files in the app?
