New version doesn't stay on
I just updated after reading your permissions explainer. But now on e.g. nytimes.com, clicking the button refreshes the page, but it stays green and fails to disable javascript.
Same situation. If JS is on, I can't turn it off. And weirdly, after I turned JS off on the web store plugin page, I can't turn it back on again.
(I can pause/unpause JS by right-clicking the icon and selecting the option from the menu, but the whole purpose of the plugin was to be able to do this with one click.)
Hello @jseakle & @csilverman, and thanks for your messages. Can you specify wich version of QJS do you use and Chrome version?
Before anything, could you send me a screenshot of these pages:
- QJS options: chrome://extensions/?options=hjakodbnficanceefobnjkfiffkhgjcg
- Chrome Javscript content settings: chrome://settings/content/javascript
And after: Try to right click on the QJS icon > More... > Danger zone > Clear all rules
And tell me if it's working.
Thanks!
It works now! Clearing the rules fixed it. Thank you!
(I'm on v2.0.2, Chrome 128.0.6613.120)
It doesn't stay on for me either on any of the localhost URLs.
I'm doing local development and it doesn't work for URL like http://localhost:8080
Hello @djuric, thanks for the report, its now fixed in the 2.1.0 version.
Can you confirm it?
@maximelebreton it's working fine now, thank you!
2.1.0 was completely broken for me until I uninstalled and reinstalled. The icon was grey and clicking on it did nothing. "Clear all rules" did not help. It seems to work now that I've uninstalled and reinstalled.
Hello everybody,
I just released a 2.2.0 version to the Chrome Webstore and it should fix the toggle problem without reinstalling.
