Secretive "Add configuration for me" button not working

I was trying to get the "Add configuration for me" buttons to work on a freshly configured mac (intel T2 2018 running Sequoia) after brew installing secretive. None of .ssh/ or .bashrc existed for me. I was not able to get the button to actually create the files, or populate them once they were created. Happy to do some legwork if I can provide logs or anything, but I am not particularly familiar with swift development or macOS system logging. After configuring the files myself, it worked fine. Thanks!
