Widevine CDM on ARM64

Open usphil opened this issue 8 years ago • 3 comments

My TV box is Arm 64bit and I get the error:

Widevine CDM is currently not available natively on ARM64. Please switch to a 32-bit userspace for Widevine CDM support.

What does it mean? How to switch to a 32-bit userspace?

Thank you

No chance of having Widevine on ARM64: https://github.com/emilsvennesson/script.module.inputstreamhelper/issues/1#issuecomment-330565257

I'm not sure if it could work, but you could try to install Kodi for arm32

FYI: Unsupported Widevine architecture found: armv6

In other words, Raspberry Pi Model B 1 (and other armv6-based devices) are no longer friends to our add-on.

There was a new release for arm64:

https://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian/pool/main/w/widevine/
