An attempt to fix a couple of issues

Hey , im trying to fix a couple of issues , a) when the site is offline , b) mouse click doesnt work with localized client.

Thanks for the PR! I'll have a look at it when I get the chance and see about merging it in.

Been busy lately, and have not really had to time to look into any of the issues being reported here.
