Help with setup

New to matrix, just set up a server on EC2 using the ansible/docker playbook.

I'm confused, which part goes on my Mac, and which goes on the server?

Trying to understand https://docs.mau.fi/bridges/go/imessage/mac/setup.html ... not getting the part that says 4. Set up mautrix-wsproxy. Set it up on the server? How?

Thanks for any guidance!

I downloaded the binary mautrix-wsproxy-amd64 on my server ... copied config.yaml over there ...

Is homeserver my Mac? Or the Matrix server?

I'm just getting started myself, but your homeserver is the EC2 instance - https://matrix.org/docs/guides/introduction
