Telegram -> Matrix read receipts

Telegram enabled read receipts for small groups, it'd be nice if this could also get reflected in matrix rooms.

Not really possible, Telegram doesn't send read receipts to clients

how about occasionally querying it, with a backoff mechanism the older the message gets? (until its been 7 days, or all group participants have viewed newer messages)

That might get ratelimited since it's intended to be done on user interaction
