Facebook community group chat
When I first set the Bridge up it pulls all the messages from the community group chat then it never updates again it will allow me to message from it but, not receive any messages
I'm also having this issue. Don't use communities often so didn't notice for a while. :/
Sending messages works fine, receiving does not work. I have not been able to check the logs when recieving happens
Weirdly enough suddenly all the recieved messages came through at once ~24hrs after I hadn't recieved anything from that community. Nothing obvious in the logs to indicate what's happened.
Further information on bug.
User actions: In Facebook messenger: communities > add chat to inbox Result: communities chat appears in inbox, triggering matrix to add the chat.
See above for not loading bug described.
Restarting the not results in some recent messages loading.
Further investigation required.

I have not experienced this issue in 3 months. Have you experienced the same? Can we close this ticket?

I haven't seen this again either, although I don't think I've used a "communities" chat since. I'm ok with this being closed and I can reopen in future if I ever gather usedul further info.

I havent tried it in a while. honestly forgot I ever put a issue in.... ill test and see if its fixed
I joined a new community group chat 2-3 days ago to test this, and I have not seen a single message from that community chat come through to Matrix at all.
I've just now done the "add chat to inbox" thing mentioned above, it has not made the chat appear in Matrix, but no new messages have come in yet, I'll update here if there's any movement.
UPDATE: Some messages have come in to the community chat on Facebook, they did not get to Matrix.
UPDATE2: The messages came through to Matrix sometime overnight, I can't tell what time, but definitely at least a few hours after the first update. However, further messages are not coming through, they probably will eventually, but it's been 5hrs now since more messages were put in the chat, and nothing has come through
UPDATE3: I did some software updates, messages seem to be coming in immediately now
I'm still having this issue - for me, relogging in seems to bring everything up to speed immediately. I'll take a look at the logs next time I need to do that.
