On latest docker image, Spaces are generated repeatedly

on version mautrix-meta v0.5.3+dev.0ceb36fa (Wed, 10 Sep 2025 18:09:26 UTC), after logging in via the curl flow, the login state is stuck on "Connecting" and spaces are repeatedly created and not joined. This configuration was working on a previous version of the container pulled 2 months ago, so this behavior is different in the same configuration.

Double puppeting is confirmed enabled (at least according to the bridge bot and config file.

Attempting to manually accept any of the space invitations does not prevent more spaces from being created.
