Viewing past rooms?

Hi,

I have encountered this problem. When you leave a group or get kicked on Messenger, the Matrix room kicks you too. Therefore, it doesn't let you view past messages/historical. But on Messenger you can view them as archived messages. Is there a possible way to view the past messages and reinvite you to the room again?

Also, I found the documentation is lacking. I'll just add another request here, the capability to redact own messages by batch on existing rooms. Does set-pl helps with that? Being a room admin gets you to redact own messages but I don't know if that will also sync to the messenger itself.

For an instance, backfilling didn't work? Any commands to trigger it? I don't want to clean-rooms again as for the fear losing messages on the bridge.

The Remove recent messages from a room does not sync message removal to Messenger, it would be great if it could also Unsent on Messenger.

Alternative solution is. Make your current user an admin, then re invite that user to the room.
