Some Discord contacts can not be reached at all

I recently noticed that some of my newer Discord contacts can not reach me at all on Matrix. When i search their ID on Matrix, i can however see that a virtual user was created for that contact, but i can not message it.

Possibly related to this? https://github.com/mautrix/discord/issues/122
