design a geological section
hello, tryng qgis to create a geolgical section, i looking for a tool under linux to draw inside the the profile that i have created without export to another app to design a geological section. it is possible to add a new feature to the plugin with a pencil like to design inside the profile? do you know a method inside qgis?

Hi, I will think about for a possible improvement. But not sure whether it is feasible and surely would not be implemented within the next months...

Also interested in the same improvement. Another interesting option would be to incorporate the plugin into the atlas. This would allow the drawing of automated profiles or sections following a certain layer of the project
I don't use (and know) the atlas. Have you any example of plugins integrated into it, so that I could see how this works? Will check whether it's possible to draw in a matplotlib window.
I think this would be a major piece of work! Best current option would be to use Inkscape. Export from qProf as SVG. Inkscape is a vector tool and there are plenty of good tutorials.
