dedicated host
I love this script, it's too bad it still has so many crashes.
Would it be an idea to collect some donations or make it a paid service and run it on a dedicated host? That way it can be debugged more and non programmers can use it too :-)
I have it hosted at http://portify.app.nodegear.com :D
Great, altough the project was developed and packaged as is for a reason. Since your submitting your passwords (and not logging in via OAuth) you should only use instances of portify which you completely trust. Just sayin'

Well, if you want I can contact the CEO and get you an account so you can host it yourself. The only problem is if the CEO will say yes
The problem ist not that I can't find any space to host portify. Other people would still have to trust my instance of portify does not relay their password to me (or some other nasty things) If the Google Music and Spotify API would be accessible using OAuth I would have implemented it that way, so people could use a hosted 3rd party service without giving out their Google and Spotify passwords.
So I still want to make clear the only 100% safe way to run portify is on your own machine with having the code checked yourself.
