Is there anyway to create/connect to and adjust the HMD via commandline?

I know there's the method to create a null driver, but was wondering how I could use openvr-inputemulator to connect to that null driver/replace it and then control its position and rotation as with other devices. Also is there a way to obtain a controller's position and rotation, or to change its position and rotation by a relative amount rather than absolute value?
