ASettings button gone after returning from a SteamVR restart

I've been using it for months without issue. but recently, I noticed that when I Restart SteamVR using your button. when it returns, the Advanced Settings button is no longer there, though the Revive button remains.

I updated to the latest version. no change.

Are there any logs I can provide which will help diagnose?

Sometimes it happens to me too, a quick fix is reopening AdvancedSettings and it works fine

I think i have the same issue as you. But mine advancedsettings vr being unresponsive after i restart the steamvr, causing it to stuck at loading advancedsettings vr. I have to manually close advancedsettings.vr using task manager to start up steamvr lobby. Anyone facing the same issue as me?

6 months later. completely different PC now and this still happens every single time without fail. That "Restart Steam" button might as well say "Restart Steam and kill Advanced Settings".

@sampsamp101 that could be what's happening. I'm not sure. All I know is that after the restart. the Advanced settings button is gone.

but @matzman666 hasn't committed any changes or responded to an issue since August last year. so I guess this project is abandoned. :(
