Switch sectionpage and subsectionpage to standout mode

Open paulduf opened this issue 3 years ago • 1 comments

Hello,

First, thanks for this great theme. After reading the doc, I did not see any option to get section and subsection pages in standout. I'd like to do so because (i) I think there is too much white on those slides, and (ii) it would help the attendees to notice the change in a subsection. Do you think it is a reasonable idea?

I tried to play around with the subsection page template, but it does not work as expected, as I don't know very well the beamer framework. I guess it's not so hard to do, but can someone show me the proper way of doing it?

Many thanks

The following works for me.

\AtBeginSection[]
{
  \setbeamercolor{section title}{fg=white}
  \begin{frame}[standout]
    \sectionpage
  \end{frame}
  \setbeamercolor{section title}{fg=black}
}

I need to change the font color for the section title to differentiate from the background.
