Create a whiteboard sidebar when aspectratio=169

Hi, I would like to use mtheme for 16:9 wide screen, though, I want to keep the slide in original 4:3 (12:9) format but add a whiteboard on the right with the remaining spaces (4:9). How could I tweak mtheme in this way?
