Definition of "section page" template should use \insertsection instead of \insertsectionhead ?

Open raievsky opened this issue 8 years ago • 2 comments

Definitions of the "section page" template in beamerinnerthememetropolis.{dtx, sty} use the \insertsectionhead command. This makes impossible to use an outer theme which shows the structure of the presentation (the tiny-shiny little circles). If those definitions were using \insertsection instead, everything would be fine. I would have happily submitted a pull request if my institution's proxy was not so stubborn... Thanks a lot for this theme by the way.

Simply changing to \insertsection breaks our title format handling for small caps. By the way, you can send and/or attach patches that you create with git am format-patch.

Thanks for your reply and advice for generating git patches. I'm not using small caps options so it worked for me to simply change to \insertsection. My knowledge of latex is too low to propose a patch including correct handling of small caps options, sorry.
