Undefined Symbol askingCommand

Hi, My subject line says it all. I followed all the instructions to load the geo module, and then tried to load the simple poong module. Both fail with the following error seen in the redis log: Could not open module /home/mydir/poong.so because: /home/mydir/krmt/poong.so: undefined symbol: askingCommand

Any ideas on whats going on?

Redis server : Redis 2.8.9-dynamic-0.5.2 (00000000/0) 64 bit Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
