Dropdown list in button-card

Nice and works as described.

I'd sure like to see a one line version (no scrolling), with a drop down arrow (icon) to the right, to show/drop down the options.

Many users of the button-card would use this...

I'm a big fan of the button-card myself, could you explain how you would use this card together with the button-card? Or would you use this card (with the feature you suggested) as a replacement for the button-card?

Primarily, I'm looking for a input_select that does not force the use of the built in graphics (icon and line).

I am not looking for a replacement of the button card, that would be a lot of work and duplication. For example, a source select card for receivers. "Idle state" would just the current source (single line) with an icon at the end (drop down), then when pressed, your card would wake up as in a drop down list. The drop down could/should scroll if long list, just like you already have it.
