Thanks for this @varundey :+1: Given the known requirements, this looks good to me.

I'm planning on closing https://github.com/mattermost/mattermost-plugin-jira/issues/860 as "Won't Do" since the requirements are unclear. I'll be closing this PR as a result if that happens. Thanks again for submitting this.
