Bug:Focalboard Desktop app displays blank page

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Whether downloading the desktop app from Windows Store or Github Open the app as administrator Then displays blank page as below ,no others.

Edition and Platform

  • Edition: Personal Desktop
  • Version: V7.1.0/V7.0.1 both
  • Browser and OS: Window 10 professional edition

Hi @banboo3, thanks for reporting this! Has this always happened for you, or did this start happening after a recent upgrade?

One thing to try:

  1. Backup the focalbaord.db file (located here)
  2. Delete it from the original location
  3. Uninstall and reinstall the app (e.g. from the Windows App Store)

Does the issue repro?

Hi @chenilim, This is the first time I use focalboard, and it seems that it can not work in my laptop. I just re-install the windows but still same.The model of my laptop is Dell latitude 7390

Does focalboard need to be supported by webview2 macrosoft? I already installed the webview2 runtime.

@ogi-m @chenilim Hi, I would like to add one more information , the laptop is be added a corporate domain , does the domain setting affect this issue?
