Feature Idea: Follow boards instead of just cards

Currently is seems users can only subscribe to individual cards. This is nice, but not at all a viable solution for large boards and/or large teams where people need or want to be notified about all changes. For example I just had 3 people join a board that has 181 cards. In order to get notifications they would need to click on 543 cards and follow them individually. That's a minimum of 1629 clicks and a lot of scrolling. When they are done they still won't be notified of new cards and will need to find and follow each as they get added. Every time a new team member joins they have to go through the whole thing.

I suggest a mechanism to follow a whole board instead of only following on a per-card basis.

I came across this FR because of this forum topic.

I think there maybe could be a generic solution to all these requests. If subscription options could be configured on a board/card level, one could a channel-id or a username as the target for the updates (just like in incoming webhooks). The bot could then relay the update notifications either directly to someone or to a channel. If also a URL could be added to the subscription options (just like the outgoing webhook screen), this would help with getting board updates out of mattermost into other tools.
