[Bug]: No notification given for update

Steps to reproduce

Just wait for the update notification to get activated because the v. 5.5.1 was published already on 6ht of this month.

Expected behavior

Automatic update notification should have been actitivated on 6th of this month.

Observed behavior

Notification has not been activated. User has to manually 1.) check the update 3-dots menu -> Help -> check for updates AND 2.) manually make the update.

Additional Information

So the client has found the update alredy in the right day but did not notified it at all. The setting for automatic updates is on. Capture

@kaksikanaa Are you seeing an item in the downloads dropdown? There was an issue in the downloads dropdown that was fixed in v5.5.1. The notification should still be working though.
