Issue with mails being pulled over and over infinitely

Hi, I have installed the plugin on a 6.0.1 Mattermost server. Polling emails works, but the e-mails do not get deleted as expected on the IMAP server. Instead the plugin polls the e-mail again and again and posts its contents in the respective discussions over and over. Has anyone experienced this and is a fix available?
