MagicMirror won't load when over API request limit

Like the title says, this module causes MagicMirror to fail to load properly on startup or reboot if you have exceeded your API request limit. To fix this I simply disable the module in the config and reboot the pi. I am sure there is a fix for this but I am more posting this for anyone who may be running into this issue.
