Aluminum plate

Can I use the dxf included in the folder with the cases to produce a 1.5 mm thick double-sided plate to snap switches into? I would then 3D print the base part myself. Or am I better off just 3D printing the whole thing? I have made a macro pad or two and I have reservations on it's longevity. I did get a number of pcbs made however and so long as I get a matching number of plates the price isn't so bad from xometry.

Hi there, yes you can but you need to take into account the tolerances required for the switches to snap on correctly. In other words: the dxf file is a good starting point to generate your case files but is not "production ready".
