Typing > results in nothing.

When I try to type > in atom with autoclose-html enabled, it produces nothing. I can still produce <, and even a period, but holding Shift and pressing the period key to get > results in nothing. When I disable the autoclose-html package I can type > without any issues.

If you're using a non-US or non-QWERTY keyboard see #128

Otherwise, first try closing Atom and reopening it.

If neither of those solve your problem we'll need to do some additional debugging. Any info you could give me on os, atom version, settings, other plugins would be useful. Especially useful would be a description of what fires (or a screen cast) when you type ">" with the keybinding resolver (cmd/ctrl + .) open

Restarting Atom and re-enabling the package seems to have fixed it.

For future viewers I'm on a US MacBook Pro with a standard QWERTY keyboard.

Restarting Atom worked here also, Debian Linux.
