Embedded Youtube videos do not play in Quicktime

Embedded Youtube videos (i.e. on a Facebook-page) do not play in the Quicktime-plugin, but they do when viewing them on the Youtube-page. When clicking on the Quicktime-replacement icon, the Quicktime player pops up, but stays stuck on “loading” ,with no image.

Don’t know what else you need to know to see if this is true or not, but I’d be happy to help in any way possible.
