Decimals not shown as sensor is set up

When putting a sensor, in the sidebar, it shows maximum decimals possible for that sensor, instead of showing what the sensor is set up to. Adding eg decimals: 2 to the code line as you can with an entity card on lovelace, does not seem to have any effect either. On a beautiful dashboard, this does not look very nice.
