Hi @MCrank You're right. Anything more complex should be managed outside this module. The lz-vending module can work with existing subscriptions and supports much more complex vwan connection configurations.

This is something we will put in the backlog for the next release.

I think #372 could cover both data sources and resources, using a common retry function.

Although, it might be a different scenario if the API does not return an error (which, I think it should)

@kewalaka can you provide an update here? It might be best to use separate validation rules to test each scenario, rather than a complex regex.
