Get "https://xbarapp.com/docs/plugins/categories.json": net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)

To clarify the above report, I encountered this when I went to edit my most-used plugin.

Selecting "Open Plugin…" brought up the plugin window as expected, but at the top was this message (on a muted yellow background):

Something went wrong, this: Get "https://xbarapp.com/docs/plugins/categories.json": x509: failed to load system roots and no roots provided; SecTrustSettingsCopyCertificates error: -36 Open issue

Once I used the close "x" button on the right side of the message, I can't seem to reproduce it.
