LDAP connection Fails

I am trying to enable single sign on for PIWIK with LDAP plugin. But after configuring LDAP settings when tried to test with LDAP search filter - ITusertype=Common, An error "Something went wrong Appears". Tests show that there is no issue on CD side, no network communication issue and no issue with the credentials. 2016-10-10_15-35-11 Is this a restriction from PIWIK? Can somebody please help?
