Page overlay reports for custom URLs

Page overlay report doesn't work for pages with custom URLs. This issue is globalized for customers that tracks several subdomaines on the same view and therefore have custom URLs for all their pages.

Summary

Most of my customers use custom URLs (at least for some URLs of their website, sometimes for all URLs of their website (through the subdomain tagging case mentionned above). It makes the Page Overlay report unusable in a lot of cases.

I see 3 possible ways for the feature to evolve :

• store the real URL within Matomo, always use the real URL within this report ;
• let users input the URL Matomo is going to try to overlay ;
• create an extension so Matomo users can use page overlay within their navigator when going on their website (there is something similar for ContentSquare heatmaps), this way the extension can make the bridge between real and custom URL ; The main blocking point is that a single real URLs can match multiples custom URLs or a single custom URL can match multiple real URLs.
