Respect WordPress Time and Date Format

Matomo for WordPress currently doesn't respect the Time and Date settings of the WordPress installed that it's installed to and instead presents date in a different format and time in military time.

@mattmary I would suggest this is a defect versus an enhancement since WordPress plugins are not supposed to override the install time locale

@tsteur I've added the bug label instead of the enhancement one, as for me this is a (minor) bug. Happy to discuss your definition of an enhancement and edit back if needed.

Sorry, I misunderstood your problem: You expect the same thing as this request, https://forum.matomo.org/t/how-to-change-time-format/3331, right? For now, we synchronize only the timezone between WordPress and Matomo, not the time format. So this is a feature request and not a bug. This is not managed for now in Matomo: I've created a feature request: https://github.com/matomo-org/matomo/issues/20529 Upon resolved, we'll synchronize it from WP to Matomo. Kind regards
