Marketing Campaigns Reporting causing critical error on Wordpress installation

After installing the "Marketing Campaigns Reporting"-Plugin we got a notfication that this plugin caused a critical error on the website. We tried both - installing it via download and via the marketplace-plugin. We are using the latest version of Matomo for Wordpress - only installed it from the repository today.

Any help is appreciated and we thank you very much in advance.

Hey @sciam-digitalmedien sorry about that. I just tested it and couldn't reproduce any kind of error.

Do you have maybe more information about the error? or do you maybe know when this error happens (steps to reproduce)?

In case you can access the Matomo System Report, could you paste the output of the system report as a comment below? The information should be anonymised automatically.

Usually my guess would be that for example an older version of Marketing Campaign Reporting (a version 3.X of the plugin) was installed that is not compatible with our Matomo for WordPress (version 4.X) but the Marketplace plugin would install the correct version.
