Matomo Tag Manager with WordPress plugin

Hello, If one use the Matomo event tag within Matomo Tag Manager within the WP Matomo plugin. If he is using variables within the category, name or action, then the event are not pushed to Matomo. The following error message appears within the Firefox console: " Error while logging event: Parameters category and action must not be empty or filled with whitespaces" whereas the variables chosen "Click ID" "ClickText"... have data. The event works if instead of variables we are using hard coded text.

Hi @Chardonneaur could you export the draft version of the container so we can try to use the same?

--> Export Draft in Versions screen.

You can also send it to us by email to [email protected] and then leave a comment here in case you don't want it public. I'd then try to reproduce it 👍
