Open LukaszWiktor opened this issue 8 years ago • 1 comments

When I executed the vagrant up command it ended with an error:

Error: Could not parse application options: invalid option: --manifestdir

How can I fix it?

The SSH command responded with a non-zero exit status. Vagrant
assumes that this means the command failed. The output for this command
should be in the log above. Please read the output to determine what
went wrong.

I had this problem, and it seems to be an incompatibility between Puppet version 4, and the Vagrant puppet provisioner.

The advice in the link below worked for me in the end: move the puppet config into an environments/test folder and specify that environment in the "puppet" provision block.
