Anyone following? Pi Zero?

Hello! Was wondering if anyone was following this. It's such a great project. I'm just hoping it is still relevant. Has anyone built recently? Does anyone know if this would be able to run on a Pi Zero 2W?

I'm not sure if anyone tried, but my gut tells me it should. Considered it's been two years since the question asked... have you tried it?
