Unable to donate money

Hello, I am unable to send money to the paypal account listed in "donate".

Expected behaviour

Would like to thank for the great app 😉.

Actual behaviour

Got an error: "This recipient cannot receive personal payments"

Steps to reproduce

1. got to https://www.paypal.me/matiasdelellisAr
2. put a reasonable amount of money to thank for the great app
3. confirm payment

Suggestion to solve

Have a look in the preferences of your PayPal account or contact the costumer service.

I think it could help if as much peoples as possible would try to track down this problem by say "thank you for the great app" and donate a suitable amount of money. 😉

Hi @muebau Thank you very much for trying.. I sincerely appreciate it, 😃 😄 🥰 I do not intend to get rich with it, just add the link and I do not plan to do any campaign ..I'm even surprised that you saw it so quickly .. 🙈

I'm very ashamed of this conversation. 😅 ... but can you try again? Put something very small because we are only testing.. and if keeps failing, I just created a link of "donations to try..

There is nothing to be ashamed of. This is simply to thank you for all the initial work done to start up and maintain a great project. I thought quite often to start a project exactly like this and never found time to do so.

To send money directly failed again but the link worked perfectly. Did it work on your side too?

I would suggest to not close the issue to leaf it as some kind of documentation. To add the link to the wiki page would be a good idea too.

I remember we talked something in #210 .I hope that we improve even more on that... and although I like that you use our application, honestly, it would be good to see a competition.. Always is good.. :grimacing:

Paypal.Me is new to me, and I thought it was more convenient to use it, but if it doesn't work better to use the old platform.. It is probably due to restrictions imposed by my country. Sincerely I dont know. I did not receive any notification or anything .. :confused:
