Incorrect Unicode Constants - Wikimedia Issue T105315

I've been working with a group investigating this minor outdated accessibility issue on Wikimedia: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T105315

After following the API from Wikimedia to Mathoid I finally arrived here. I suspect the issue may reside in a few of the unicode constants used in one of this systems APIs. I briefly related it to Peter Krautzberger and he pointed to the 'texvc' library as the most likely spot.

With that said, this issue is beyond the scope and time period my group had anticipated so we agreed to discontinue on our end. Still, if time and convenience allow, please investigate this issue and try to tie it up on Wikimedia. Otherwise, if this issue not related, you can reject this issue. Thanks.

Thanks for your advice on this. We will take it under advisement as we move forward with the MathJax v3 rewrite.
