Strange/Bizarre World Generation

Open edemir-matcomp opened this issue 4 years ago • 5 comments

I had problems with the generation of the world. I managed to make the server go online normally for someone else, but the created world seems to have had problems when putting the components and it was created in a degenerate way (e.g., trees in the water, tentacles in the savannah, etc.)

Here are some pictures to illustrate...

Has anyone had this problem before? and how to get around?

  • What is the host OS? (Windows, Linux, Mac? Which version?) Linux - Ubuntu 18.04
  • Where are you running it? (Local/own computer, VPS, AWS?) Own computer

Same here. Running on windows 10, connecting from same PC and from another one in same local network. Worlds don't even match for two players: we can see each other, but the world around us is different.

I solved my problem running the docker-compose using the ubuntu administrator user and running from a folder located on home folder: /home/MYUSER/DSTFOLDER

I have the same issue in Windows 10. Doesn't seem to be a problem on MacOS 10.15

I'm looking into this. It's funny how world gen seems to always work when I run docker from Linux, but always fail (weird world as shown in the screenshot) when I run it from Windows.

I'll post back as soon as I figure out a fix for it, hang tight.

I'm getting the same odd world gen. Was anything found on this? I saw another container was pushed to docker hub, however I'm unsure if it would help at all.

I'm running this on UnRaid linux btw. I can't seem to figure it out.
