Plugin slow and unusable, custom themes not applying color
I'm starting from a fresh file and using the latest plugin. It constantly tries to update the variables, is extremely slow, and very unreliable. I've also used the online theme builder, exported JSON, and imported JSON to the plugin. That seemed to work better but still unbearably slow. Happy to share more details if interested.
Confirming all of the above. Using Figma app (not in browser) on MacBook M1 2020. Creating a new theme takes 5-10 minutes, leaving Figma slow and mostly unresponsive. Applying theme to any amount of components takes 1+ minute. It is incredibly frustrating and downright unusable.
I haven't used the Plugin before and I'm inclined on not doing it at all, though I do assume it wasn't always like this?
I also attempted to use the Plugin and experienced extremely long load times, with the browser crashing several times. I'm using the latest version of Chrome on a Windows PC with 32 GB of RAM and a 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700KF, 3610 Mhz, 12 Core, 20 Logical Processor.
I noticed that it took the longest time to load when I updated fonts, or when I tried to add Extended Colors to the color palette. Even for updates to the standard color palette it took 6-10 minutes to load in my changes.
