How to get started to make a dark theme?

Hello, I m new to this project and I would like to use the components in a dark theme.

Does a dark theme already exists? What would be the best way to get started to have a default dark theme up ?

Yeah, the repo was updated in waiting for material 3. For material 2, there is an mwc branch, https://github.com/material-components/material-web/blob/mwc/docs/theming.md

For material 3, you would have to wait until the repo is fully updated.
